Pravin Shekar is the creator-in-chief at ‘krea’ – a new-gen research agency and the Founder-trustee of ‘The Social Catalyst’ – a non-profit trust that works towards professionalizing NGOs.
Pravin is a startup specialist and has successfully incubated companies in the research domain and steered them towards multi-million dollar growth. His experience and focus is on taking concepts from ideation to stability, Global expansion and Marketing research.
Mr. Pravin Shekar has been selected as one of the “Emerging Global leaders in marketing research” under the age of 40, by the American Marketing Association (4 under 40 Award). The award will be conferred in September 2011 in Orlando, USA.
A speaker with strong communication skills, Pravin has presented at several international conferences. He follows his passion to evangelize entrepreneurship and marketing research by conducting workshops at educational institutions, encouraging students and mentoring budding businessmen.
Pravin is very active in the Chennai startup sector and is an active participant at all Tie Chennai events. He was a silver rank holder, IIM-Indore, EPGP. He also was the outstanding student award winner, Bachelor of Engineering, SVCE, Madras University.
