Raghu Rajagopal is the founder and CEO of Energeate an advisory firm for early stage ventures and cross-border companies with offices in Chennai, Bangalore and New Jersey. He has extensive experience in building companies that leverages the cross-border model.
He played a key role in building the NASDAQ listed SeraNova a pure-play eBusiness services company where he was the Head of Strategic Accounts and CEO of the India operations. This company had revenues of 83 Million USD at the time of exit. He co-founded ikigo a Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) software company. This software company had an IP and 2 fortune 500 clients before the exit. He was the EVP of Sales and Marketing of Swift Response a BPO company that was acquired by ESSAR backed Aegis BPO. He had a brief stint with i-flex in Chennai before starting Energeate. He is the co-founder and CEO of Datri Blood Stem Cell Donor Registry. DATRI is a non-profit organization that has been set up to help save lives of those suffering from life threatening disorders like leukemia, lymphoma etc.
Secretary and Treasurer of Tie Chennai during 2007-09. Program Chairman of Tiecon 2008, 2009 and 2010. GC Member for the period 2009-11. He has also taken the initiative to form The Chennai Angels. He is actively involved in mentoring entrepreneurs. He holds an Engineering degree from BITS, Pilani.
