Raman is the founder of Perfsystems (www.perfsystems.com), with offices in Chennai, San Jose and Singapore and is a leading product & services provider in database security, performance, data warehousing, fault tolerance and disaster recovery for large enterprises, in Japan, USA, France, & Asia Pacific.
Raman has worked for Oracle, IBM, EMC, Cray Research, AMD, Siemens etc., in Silicon Valley, USA, for more than 16 years. Some of his presentations and prototypes in 1990s using Clustered and Parallel architectures, were industry landmarks and among world’s firsts.
His recent presentations are on, Cloud Computing at TieCON Chennai, Mobile Computing at IACC, Data Warehousing, at SiliconIndia, Data Warehousing at Singapore.
He is Vice Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce, TN &member of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce). He has MBA and MS Computer Science (USA) degrees, and has taught at UC Berkeley, and has mentored many at TiE and IACC.
